Modifying the display name for multiple points

Changing a display name for multiple points using the batch editor saves time. This procedure documents how to change an action’s name for more than one point at a time.

1. Expand Station > Config > Services and double-click ProgramService in the Nav tree.
   The Batch Editor view opens.
   
   
2. Click Find Objects.
   The Bql Query Builder window opens.
   
   
3. Select Control Point from the Of type drop-down list and click OK.
   The control points display in the Batch Editor.
4. To modify the display name for multiple points, click Rename.
   The Rename window opens.
   
   
5. In the Find property, enter the display name to find and Replace the one to be modified, and click OK.
   The Batch Editor Results window opens, with modified changes and click OK.
6. To view the modified changes, open the Points folder in the station.
