Opening a palette

You open a palette to access the components provided by the module that bears the same name as the palette. It provides a hierarchical view of available components. You can copy and paste or drag a component from a palette, for example, to a wire sheet, property sheet, Px View, or the Nav side bar pane.

You are working in Workbench and are connected to a station.
  1. If the Palette side bar is not visible, from the menu bar, click Window, select Side Bars and click Palette.
    The palette side bar appears in the side bar pane.
  2. Use the filter to limit the list of palettes.
  3. Click the name of the palette and click OK.
    The palette opens in the Palette sidebar.
