Working with rows in a table
Editing more than one table row at a time is sometimes called “batch editing,” or “batch processing.”
- Select the rows in the table to process using the Ctrl or Shift keys while you click the desired rows.
- To display the popup menu of available controls and actions, right-click on the selected rows.
- Select the control or action.
- If the system opens a window, make your selection and click OK.
Note: Some actions, such as moving rows, or editing
certain types of fields, are not appropriate for batch editing. In
these cases – even though you can select multiple rows in the
table, the action will be performed on only one (usually the top,
or highest) selected record in the table.
