local user
A user that has been set up using the standard Niagara user properties. The system cannot validate a local
user against the LDAP database. This type of user can only log in
to a local host. Two local users are common: the admin user and a
service user. The admin user logs in to the host during initial setup
and rarely thereafter to update Niagara software. A service user represents the host to
other remote users.
