HTML5 Upgrade Out-of-date Software
In Niagara 4.14 and later, there is added browser support the Upgrade Out-of-Date Software step. When processed, the versions of software on the target host(s) are compared with the latest versions in the Supervisor’s software database. If the system finds newer versions, this step installs them to the target host(s). The “HTML5” version of this view is a web-browser-based implementation and it provides the same functions as the Workbench view.

To access this view, expand and click .ProvisioningNwExt. To open the job steps window, click
and double-click Upgrade Out-of-Date Software or select Upgrade
Out-of-Date Software and click OK. This adds the job step in the top pane (Provisioning
steps to run) of the Niagara Network Job Builder or the Niagara Network Prototype View. Running
this step upgrades the software with the latest version to the target
host.
