HTML5 Update Connections Using Provisioning Station’s DHCP Server

In Niagara 4.14 and later, there is added browser support that updates the Supervisor-to-station connections when a JACE-9000 is acting as a Supervisor for a group of Edge devices connected through the secondary network port. It uses information pulled from the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server running on the JACE-9000. This information includes IP address and port information for Fox and Platform connections.. The HTML 5 version of this view is a web-browser-based implementation and it provides the same functions as the Workbench view.

You add this job step component in the top pane (Provisioning steps to run) of the Niagara Network Job Builder or the Niagara Network Prototype View.

Note: Only Edge devices respond to this request in a NiagaraNetwork. JACE controllers do not respond to these requests.
