This step in the Commissioning Wizard lets you add additional platform admin users in the Edge device, and also delete users and change passwords. Platform daemon authentication lets you create up to 20 (total) additional platform
admin users.
NOTE: You can access this same window via the User Accounts button in the Platform Administration view, available any time after commissioning.
Perform the following steps:
Click New User for the popup New User dialog, as shown above.
In the User Name field, type in the desired user name for platform login.
In the Password fields, type in a strong password (it must match in both password fields). Password must use a minimum of 10 characters,
using at least one uppercase character, at least one lowercase character, and at least one digit.
In the (optional) Comment field, you can enter an alphanumeric descriptor for this platform admin user, where it is seen in the “Users table”.
Click OK. The user is added to the Users table.
To add another user, repeat the previous steps or else click the Next button for the final step.
