Connecting from Workbench to a station

  1. In Workbench, click File > Open > Open Station.


    The Connect window opens.
  2. From the Type drop-down menu, select Station TLS WebSocket Connection.
    Note: Configure the port to connect to the target station's HTTPS port as defined in the target station's WebService.
    You can still use the Station TLS Connection and the Station Connection option. However, if the initial foxs/fox connection fails, a fall-through connection to foxwss may be attempted as noted in the Connect window.

  3. To configure the fall-through connection attempt to foxwss in , select Tools > Options > Fox Options. Here you can specify the preferred HTTPS port to use for the foxwss fall-through connection attempt.


    You can also adjust the Attempt Fox Over WebSocket If Fox Or Foxs Fails setting to enable or disable the fall-through foxwss connection attempt.

    Once a foxwss connection is established from Workbench to a station, you can continue to navigate the station as before.
