Using a certificate with incomplete chain in Services

The procedure to use a certificate with an incomplete cert chain is the same as the existing procedure to use a complete cert chain.

Select the desired certificate from the drop-down menu in the service that you are configuring and, if needed, enter the password.

After selecting a certificate, you can notice two main differences:

  • The certificate will work.

  • Services that include a Certificate Health property (for example, Fox Service and Web Service) have an additional certificate health status: Ok Incomplete Chain.
