In NiagaraAX-3.7 and AX-3.8, new stations come with the Apps node already added. There is no need to add a second Apps component if one is already present in the station.
Perform the following steps:
- From NiagaraAX Workbench, open the mobile palette and drag the Apps component directly onto the Config node in the Nav tree, as shown here:
- To display the App Manager view in Workbench, double-click the Apps node in the Nav tree.
- In the App Manager view, click the New button to display the New dialog box.
NOTE: You can add a group of apps if they are contained in an AppFolder, such as the NiagaraMobileWebApps folder simply by dragging
and dropping the AppFolder onto the Apps node or onto the App Manager view.
- In the New dialog box, choose the desired App from the
Type to Add option field and click OK.A second New dialog box appears.
- In this New dialog box, edit the name and enable the app, as desired, and click OK to complete the installation.
All installed apps display in the
App Manager view with information identifying the app and its status (enabled or disabled), as shown below.
There is also a BajaScriptTutorialsApp that can only be added using the New button in the App Manager view. This is intended to be used in a demo station for demonstrating, developing, and testing applications using bajascript.
