You use the Filters window to select
which alarms to view in the alarm console. This view affects only
which alarms display in the alarm console. It does not allow you to
edit an alarm record or perform any alarm maintenance.
- Open the Filters window.
The
Source,
Alarm Class, and
User properties are text strings that
allow you to filter using wildcards.
The wildcard (%) appears by default. If you are using Source with a wildcard, put the percent character (%)
both before and after the text string. Otherwise, no records match.
The drop-down list provides options. Must Not Equal and Must Not be Like do not support the wildcard.
Case Sensitive defaults to enabled.
- Configure the filter to suit your needs and click OK.
For example, to filter out all Normal alarms, enable Source State, click the chevron, select all states except Normal, and click OK.
Attention: Filter settings do not reset automatically.
To view all alarm records, open the Filters window and remove the
check mark for any checked filter properties.
