After launching DOMCNFG in Windows XP, do the following:
In the Console Root tree, expand Component Services, then Computers.
Right-click My Computer, and select Properties.
A tabbed dialog My Computer Properties appears, including a tab labeled COM Security.
Select COM Security.
In , click Edit Limits....
For the ANONYMOUS LOGON user, check the Remote Access box
and click .
On the OPC Server, in COM Security:
In Launch and Activation Permissions, click Edit Limits....
Check the Remote boxes for the user Everyone.
If client and server are not on the same domain, you must add the ANONYMOUS LOGON user and check all Allow boxes.
