Tls-Device Manager View

This manager is the default view of any Tls console. Use the Device Manager to add, edit, and access Tls console device components and check the status of the Tls console devices.

To access this manager, expand Config > Drivers and double-click any Tls console.

Database pane

This section displays the newly added devices either from discovered pane or by using New button.

Columns

Column name Description
Path Reports the station path to the device-level component, relative to the root.
Name Reports the name of the device
Type Displays the type of device.
Status Reports the current condition of the entity as of the last refresh: {alarm}, {down}, {fault}, {ok}, {unackedAlarm}
Enabled Indicates if the network, device, point or component is active or inactive.
Health Reports the status of the network, device or component.
Fault Cause Indicates the reason why a system object (network, device, component, extension, etc.) is not working (in fault).

Buttons

  • New Folder creates a new folder for devices. Each such folder provides its own set of manager views.
  • New creates a new device record in the database.
  • Edit opens the device’s database record for updating.
  • TagIt associates metadata, such as location or unique configuration with the object.
  • Template Config accesses the station template that defines configuration options. You would select a template to set up the device with pre-configured properties.
